Another day gone by.
I started off the day chasing down tenants by driving across Midrand only to loose out my 'change' to some strange country man. This was right out of bed, before a shower or breakfast. I felt a little awkward and dirty for the better part of the day.
I did not find the tenant, so I went back to work. The day started off as a drag as usual...a bit of chat here and there with nothing really done. I had just enough motivation to do a search on how people actually get lazy, and if there is a medical case of my special state of laziness. I did find some syndrome which, unfortunately, I did not have enough motivation to read through. That will have to be reserved for another day. Was able to knock off work just before 3 pm.
@ home though, there was a mini-party, D' had two colleagues over for a braai, one of them brought a friend-khanyi. She's apparently a lazy person who's come to terms with her laziness. solution: do not fight it, embrace it, its who you are, don't try and do 'everything', better still, don't do anything... (probably, unless u really have to)... sounds like a sweet solution, but one I’m also not too eager to take.
My thoughts for now is that I've placed my self in a position where I'm having to do a lot o things I do not like, (or always like) and thus doing them is a burden. I think I need to find things I enjoy doing; small things, nothing grandeur. Mix as many of these with things I ‘HAVE’ to do as much as possible and see how far that takes me.
My list of love-dos so far include
- Sleeping
- writing on random thoughts
- reading
- sipping on whatever
- chatting (cyber)
- movies
- …some series
- ? ? deal hunting on e-auction
These will be fined out though, cause I’m already spotting some things I do a lot but not necessarily enjoy.
Of fear and faith
A lot have been written on fear, faith, and how each affects our lives. The norm is that fear should be resented and avoided while faith, desired and embraced. Normally, the latter is also associated with a positive view at life, indirectly or directly leading to positive outcomes in one's life endeavors.
-These are easily understood and accepted. However, does one needs to question the extent to which these two characters affect life, and even more so, how to relate to each of the emotions/behaviors for maximal outcomes.
